Apple is beta-testing a new “gender-neutral” alternative to the female-voiced Siri called Quinn.

The Big Tech giant said the new voice is being recorded by a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
Quinn will be part of the next iOS update, which was released to developers this week.
Developer Steve Moser posted a short clip of the new voice.
“Apple adds a 5th American Siri voice with filename ‘Quinn,'” Moser wrote.
The Verge reporter Jon Porty posted the new voice alongside the others:
Apple told Axios it was “excited” to introduce the new voice to give “users more options to choose a voice that speaks to them.”
“Millions of people around the world rely on Siri every day to help get things done, so we work to make the experience feel as personalized as possible,” Apple said.
The company previously added voice options recorded by black actors to continue its “long-standing commitment to diversity and inclusion.”
